So I finally took the proper steps to securing myself a PCP and went to talk with her a few days ago, hoping to get some kpin or alpraz for my anxiety so I have an actual prescription as opposed to always having to order and wait. The doctor prescribed me hydroxyzine and referred me to a mental health specialist. She told me that the hydroxyzine tends to make people sleepy sometimes and told me since I wake up at 5:30am everyday for work to only take it at night. This is kind of hard since I sometimes have bad anxiety throughout my work day, and can't take the hydroxyzine as I found the past few days I've taken it around 7pm I am KNOCKED OUT by like 8. I tried to take it today at work, and it made me lag so hard at work my coworkers thought I was on some kind of hard drug like opiates or something. My question is, I have also been clean off opiates for a few years but recently had a relapse which caused me to get an infection and was hospitalized with a blood clot in one of my veins. I am now clean again and don't plan on ever going back because it was a huge scare and wake up call for me. I was just wondering since alpraz works so well for me if I should ask the doctor for that? She told me to try it and that if it didn't work or had bad side effects to not hesitate and call her so she cou;ld find something that does work. I was just wondering how I go about getting myself a scrpt for klon or alpraz and not this crappy hydrox stuff. I'm worried that due to my recent relapse they aren't going to want to give me any benzos, but that is really what works for me. She diagnosed me with SEVERE ANXIETY though so I'm wondering if anyone has any tips as to how I go about getting myself the medication that works best for me? Any help is appreciated.
