I found her article to be relatable. I can only hope and pray that one day, all of society (the ones with access to internet and the technology required to utilize it) will behave as if they are aware that we're real people behind this technology and deserve respect.
That being said there are various types of trolls and some are actually doing it for a living expressly to shut down people who are influencing others in a certain direction. Gaslighting, conspiracies, propaganda - none of it's new but for sure we can all be aware that it's happening and do what we can to protect ourselves from the negative regardless of their reason for trolling.
