If you don't mind me asking (I know it's a bit off-topic) what do you take the pregabalin for? How much does it help?
I ask because I have chronic myofascial pain syndrome ("trigger points") all over my back/neck/shoulder. I was prescribed pregabalin and so far it's the 'best' thing I've been prescribed meaning that at best it might take my pain down 1-2 levels if I take both of my daily pills at the same time. (My pain management doctor refuses to prescribe any opioid and several other attempted Rx's were even less efficacious. Obviously because he's prescribing nerve pain drugs when my pain is muscular...) Thus, due to worry of unknown side effects taking so much of something so new daily, I didn't feel the benefits outweighed the risks and have only taken it as needed (similarly with my baclofen and acetaminophen, the other main pharmaceutical components of my former 3x daily regimen).
