I meant to suggest an OTC back brace. They are in drug stores. Not one with straps on ur shoulder.
I would buy the men's size so i can wear it way down on lower back.
If I attempt to do anything that can send my back into spasms, I put on the back brace. it prevents me pulling anything. And, if i am in intense pain, a simple back brace can help make it stop before i seize out.
