Every year, most NYers watch the reading of the almost 3000 people killed in the World trade Centers.
And, we do it respectfully.
The cameras cut away to donald trump. He was turned away and laughing with people in the crowd behind him.
He is as heartless as our awful last mayor. Bloomberg. Bloomberg went on a six am news show. Actually stated, on the first anniversary, that he is not that upset as he lost no one close to him.
He should have been tossed out of office that day.
It may just be for those of us in NY. Those of us whom loved some whom died. But can understand the pain of all the families.
I cannot fathom such callousness that these, esp the mayor of NY at the first anniversary, and the "man" attempting to be president, exhibited.
If they do not understand the impact of 9 1 1 on our lives, and that impact is forever, they should never be in office in this state. Nor president of the country if he cannot comprehend the pain and horror still involved.
We shall never forget. Never. And shame on any politicians whom so openly show the glaring holes in their hearts, and souls.
