it is shocking. it was a nightmare for all those people to get home without using the hoboken station. i saw newscasters tell them to get rides from family. to take another method to get to NY Penn Station. And get back to NJ thru that fashion.
But, NY'ers are a tough breed. Some will rise to hero status by attempting to help others. Whereas, some will think only of personal safety. But, usually we all unite when we see someone in trouble.
I am not in the city as I once was. But, if one is a NYer, one is fairly used to seeing the unexpected.
