Very interesting indeed. What was our govt doing with that? Most likely spying on ordinary citizens and doing political hatchet work for obomber. If those "tools" are put in the public domain by wikileaks that would be the best thing for several reasons
1. It exposes the weaknesses in our systems and lets us plug them up
2. It stops these hackers from profiting by selling them
3. It stops our govt from spying on us as much.
They still can't decrypt pgp neither can they say who owns what bitcoins. I agree a massive amount like that would be hard to cover up. The coins would have to be sent to and paid out of thousands of accounts but it could be done. Bitcoin transactions are public but the to and from are easy to disguise if you take a few precautions.
I wish they did auction them off because anyone buying that many coins would drive the price way up and I have lots of coins.
