Hurricane Matthew

I know NC is having an awful time of it now.  Giant tree down almost hit my friends house. Power been gone.  And, it was not supposed to hit in that area after all.  

As one put it in above captioned article, now is the time to pray.

Sorry about your friend getting the storm. Good thing tho that the tree missed her house. How long have they been without power? Phew, that's tuff, especially when the weather can be so hot and you can't open any windows because of the rain.

I remember a few yrs. ago there was a hurricane that came close enough to where I live, but not so bad to where I had to evacuate. I lost power for 4 1/2 days. Talk about BORING not being able to watch tv. All I could do was sit on my bed with my little head light and do crossword puzzles. Talk about cabin fever.
The worst part was after it was all over with. All food in our 3 fridges and a couple of VERY full freezers, had to be thrown out. What a waste.

I pray your friend and everyone else having to deal with Matthew will be ok and power comes back before too long. It's scary when things like that happen and you see how dependent we are on electricity. We are soooo spoiled.
