Turning the Clock back takes toll on health
#10
Yeah, I'm one of those people who would benefit from an UV light fixture. A cousin of mine (female) bought one for herself and her SAD is 80% gone.

But at my latitude, I gotta say that I don't mind turning back the clock to normal eastern time, now that we do it 2-3 weeks later than before, we were a year or two not following the US's change, but we had to again, bend down and take it from the US on such a seemingly minor thing.

I don't mind it now because sun is rising much earlier again, no more 7am darkness (although it will happen at my latitude around the second week of December until xmas and new years). It makes the sun present earlier which is a big motivator for me when I need to actually be at the office of the company I work for, I need to get up early because I gotta drive 3 hours to get there at 9am. Thankfully the rest of the time I work at home and a damn UV light fixture...I have no excuse not to buy one, I got the money for it, I just have this french canadian remnants of guilt associated with spending, as we were controlled by the Vatican directly before 1961, yeah, the Federal Government let them control education, health, orphanages...there's big scandals regarding that and some people are still given some money monthly for being in those orphanages in the 40's and 50's...but the details are for another thread.
