This is a great list, all good advice.
But the one item that's helped me out the most is to be patient. 99 times out of 100 it'll work out fine, but I've stopped worrying about when my magazines will arrive. At least I do my best. A watched pot etc.
Planning ahead helps with the patience part because I do my best not to run out of reading material. So it'll show up when it shows up. I'm not the most patient person that ever walked the earth so it kind of goes against the grain for me but I try and do my best.
But it's a great list and it's all worth while.
