So, relaxme, you really think 40% increase....I dont.
Plus the workers that are working in these plants are going to be so happy to have good paying jobs with benefits.
And the countries that would have made these vehicles will not be polluting and over working the employees because they do not have the same laws and work rules that this great one has.
So in whole I think it is good news , but you are of course entitled to think it is bad news but go tell that to the happy employee that is going to be working in these plants....and I think you will get a much different response.
If the other countries had same work rules OSHA etc. the costs would be equal.
I think it is a proven fact that the USA has among the highest work productively of any country.
So I do not see this as bad news like you do.prices will raise either way, but I do not thing 40% is even remotely a sensible response to this news.
Prices will rise no doubt even if produced in a forced labor country ....but when produced here in the USA, the ripple effect of all the service industries are very good for the communities as well.
So I just do not understand your poo poo on this very good news.
...again you are entitled to believe what you want but as for me I think it is good news and I have listed realistic reasons why not a random guess about a guess in price increases.
We can continue this if you like to give realistic why it is a bad idea that vehicle production is going to stay in USA.
Oh, I do think that some things can and will be made in other countries as they should be so I did not post to pound a drum that made in USA is the answer to all problems but I have worked in mfg many years and trust me this is good news for a lot of people.
Maybe you do not live in USA and that is why you think this is bad news and of course you are entitled to think that but I do not.
