I know google isn't the only one to be hit by this. I've had it from all kinds of places, even Sephora as they know most people store their credit card in their profile.

My general rule and my bank also told me the same is to never give your password or personal data to anyone who emails you. They also encourage you to report these messages through the coprprate phone number so they can see who is trying to tap their systems.

It sucks this is the world we live in. I guess just watch eachother's back and spread the word. Maybe we will win!
