Just take Adderall and L-Lysine, it converts a lot of it into vyvanse in your stomach

woah woah woah. Is this true? Can anyone confirm? lol 
I'm prescribed adderall but I do like vyvanse once in a while.

Hahaha, that is definitely not true..... nothing is "converted" into vyvanse.... vyvanse (chemical name: Lisdexamfetamine) is broken down in the body by enzymes to dextroamphetamine, the lysine must be removed (cleaved off). Yes, Adderall has dextroamp in it as well, but also has 3 other amp. salts. The l-lysine in vyvanse is chemically bonded to the dextro and has to be broken down through your digestive system (the lysine stripped from the dex) to become affective.  That is why it takes longer to kick in and last longer.  They work similarly as a stimulant on the brain but are also very different in the way they are absorbed by our body.  Note, that this is a VERY basic answer to this question.  There are tons of other factors and reasons.  I could see why someone would assume that could work since the vyvanse is just dextroamp. and lys. but it is simply not true.
