well nothing is safe is someone wants to get you there are dozen easier ways,with little to none effort.btc is simple in that matter once understanding how to setup wallet and finding right spot to buy,that you do business as it was paypal.thus meaning you dont need to fill any forms or have paper trail,its simple agreed amount that can be basically be sent to anyone in the world,which isnt bound by time restrictions,goverment and results in quick turnover.

the silkroad example is major deal because person who ran it was getting into deep end of it ,if he stuck to just running site i doubt it went that far,since when people make millions and lose their head,eventually they will get got one way or another,nowadays btc dark web activities are quite mute and people are more aware since looking simple sites youll see its usually small deals 20-50$ that are being run.

I personally dont see it as cash just medium which is handy in some situations,many in the game thou are for the money thinking it will rise to thousands,but ive no interest in it.grand if i knew that 8 years ago it be living free life just for couple cents investment when it all started.
