I'm sorry to hear that. Someone close to me had the same as was treated with cyclosporin. It worked, but was tough on their body. She needed regular liver function tests. In the end she felt it was worth the nastiness of cyclosporin to limit the arthritic damage (which left unchecked would have got worse).
I'm not aware of any non-biological treatments beyond trying to avoid the triggers for flare ups (e.g. anxiety). Some people advocate a low inflammation diet. Anecdotally I have heard diet can help with a number of autoimmune diseases.
