i like your idea, but sadly anxiety issues or mental for governments across globe are least interesting.Since hard drugs sh1-a lead to a lot of social problems like theft, robberies, and leads to dark path. Thus having place where they can reduce such crimes and get people off is main goal.
With benzos thou, its opposite, you will hardly find someone with anxiety resulting to crime or even seeking help-we tend to suffer inside and alone. So theres actually no initiative to help people like us,since we dont pose any risk for society, its our suffer.on global terms there would be many more productive and contributing people if they had a place where they could get their medicine for anxiety no questions asked.but as said we are not important.
as much as i would like to see it implemented, many people see it as taboo or ignorance even thou its well known that benzos are wide spread epidemic, and even thou they dont pose hard life risks, like other drugs, everyone is well aware of people suffering and numbers in mental illnesses are high, but if anything is done its only making harder for genuine people to get proper help, since crackdown globally on anxiety meds, doesnt help those that really need them long term.
while i would disagree with user above with some parts that its our cage, anxiety isnt smth one can get away from easily,if it was the case ,why there would be need for benzos, some of us are wired differently from get go be it some life event,or just upbringing and not being able to manage fast pace, lack of social skills - some find ways to deal with pain without pain meds, but trouble is we arent perfect and life is complicated, one can say ill be brave now and ignore anxiety ,but it will hardly stop your brains from pumping adrenalin and making you panic when someone else could see no reason in same situation, think one has to accept that they are not perfect and we are all different.
