Congrats Lunar, it is great to hear a story like this. So many stories here in the states are full of anxiety and dread, and I won't even start talking about Duterte and some of the South American horror stories I hear. It really sounds like you found your paradise. Good for you! And congrats on finding someone.

Self Correction- Sorry, when talking about Duterte I meant the Philippines, not South America. Sorry for the repost, it was way too late to edit and it was gnawing at me that I made myself look stupid. Regardless Mods, Charon - please delete if you find this post too off topic.
And once again congratulations Lunar, please keep us posted so that we can all live vicariously through you and your happiness, there is not much of that around my parts these days. And I sincerely hope that everything keeps going great for you, and continues to get better. I know I basically only know you from your posts, but you seem like a genuinely good person and it is great when good thing happen to good people. 
- Question, are you going to become a citizen of your newfound paradise, and if so are you going to do it through marriage or other means. If you are, and you have the time to reply, please let us know how that goes and what it involves. Obviously you don't have too, or could do it in a PM. I am just very curious. I have been looking for a new country for my family and I since November, and the places I have looked into only want immigrants with certain job skills or with a substantially large  amount of money. I never really thought about South America though. Every since I saw the movie "City of God" I have been more or less terrified of Brazil, and never gave much thought to other South American countries.

Anyway congratulations on everything Lunar, don't forget about us. And hopefully we hear more stories of hope and happiness from our other family members. I can think of lot of people that deserve it.
