as asked governments do this not to cure,its basically to reduce crime,by giving people fix that they wouldnt result into crime and other means to obtain cash.
Its def not a fix in any way,even them centrers that charge leg and arm and promise cures usually are just fancy resorts where they will keep one clean for duration.
think only help for such people is getting someone who actually still cares about them,and are willing to suffer trough worst,but it requires a lot of dedication from both parties to get over it,no matter what drug it is.
as far as big pharma conspiracies its no secret they are no1 industry where there is never shortage of cash,as someone said once if you want to have security for life go into pharma degree,and i believe its true.
