Loraze??- Most Effective?

I tried Ativan as it is probably the one Benzo I have not really used on regular basis. I usually use Alprazolam to keep my sleeping and  PTSD in check. My PTSD for the past 2 months or so has really been rattling my cage BIGTIME lately and also having major issues sleeping again. Gave Ativan a try and it did help me to sleep much better maybe just the change in medication and tolerance I had built up. Now that I have been taking them about a week I am finding that now I am getting "Grumpy" as my friends tell me and was wondering if the grumpiness is a result due to the change in meds or Ativan's just don't like me. Anyone else ever have issues like this??

Don't no, are you a grumpy person? A week is not long / what does are you on, is it = to your other meds, if so I would give it a little longer, it could be due to it's very short half life, split the dose over the day to see if it makes difference.

Hey, No not usually Grumpy person at all. A LOT of emotional ups and  downs with PTSD but with all the Benzo's  I have used in the past Ativan seems to bring out the "Grumpy" in me. Gonna give it a bit more time and if continuous will discontinue use and see what happens
