JOHN GEILS JR. (1946 - 2017)

John Geils, the guitarist who founded the J. Geils Band well-known for the hits "Love Stinks," "Freeze Frame," and "Centerfold," died Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at his home in Groton, Massachusetts. He was 71.





LOLA ALBRIGHT (1924 - 2017)

Albright is known best perhaps for playing the nightclub singer Edie Hart on TV’s “Peter Gunn” from 1958 to 1961. Died Thursday, March 23, 2017. She was 92.





JOHN "SIB" HASHIAN (1949 - 2017)

John “Sib” Hashian, the former original drummer for the rock band Boston who played on their self-titled debut item, died Wednesday, March 22, 2017, while playing onstage, according to multiple news sources. He was 67.

Hashian collapsed onstage while touring as part of the Legends of Rock Cruise. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.

Peter Overend Watts, the bassist for the rock band Mott the Hoople, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017, according to multiple news sources. He was 69. The musician had throat cancer.
