Just re-reading the threads. Stupid insomnia! I just figured out the thumbs up button and what to use it for, so I wanted to go back and "thumbs up" all of you who have made such great suggestions. However, I guess there is a limit on the number you can do daily, so I'll work on it more tomorrow.
I read the comments on a Bloodline. Missed those earlier. Also "Kimmy Schmidt" is another one that I had forgotten about. It's hilarious. I already mentioned that I loved Rectify. It was slow, but I liked the pace. It worked well for the show. Loved Bates Motel, but was surprised by the ending. Vera Farmiga is one of my favorite actresses, and Freddie H. is so amazingly talented. His new show on ABC about the surgeon with Autism/Aspbergers (can't remember which, but he's on the spectrum) looks like it could be really good, but a lot of the networks shows disappoint me anymore.
Enjoyed a Stranger Things (the season 2 trailer is out and looks really good) and 13 Reasons Why.
House of Cards use to be one of my absolute faves, and maybe it was just the political climate this year, but I usually binge it in 24 hours when it debuts, but strung this season out for 2 weeks. I think I was just over politics after the election. I did like the ending though and can't wait to see what happens next. Both characters (Wright and Spacey) are so well written, so coniving, so manipulative and so smart - I love their relationship with each other. They are there to support each other, but are also out for their own personal gain. It really is a great show.
I have not seen The Leftovers, but want to. It's on my list, as is Fargo. I am 2 seasons behind on GoT, so no spoilers, please. I get bored easily and tend to jump from show to show.
I have never seen Grey's Anatomy (gasp!), but I definitely know who Drs. McDreamy and McSteamy are.
The only Shonda Rhimes show that I have seen is The Catch, which of course has been cancelled. I think I am the only person on the planet who does not watch her shows. No reason why not, just so many others to watch and I work way too much.
I really liked the first few seasons of Orphan Black (Tatiana Maslany is so talented), but the last 2, and in this one in particular, I haven't really been into. I raved about it when it first came out, but I think the season where they introduced The Castor Clones lost me.
One last show and then I am going to watch last week's Orphan Black, is Murdoch Mysteries, or The Artful Detective if you watch it on Ovation. I have had the biggest crush on Yannick Bisson since his High Tide days with Rick Springfield and will watch anything with him on it. Back in the day when the Bissons called Encino home, Yannick's wife and I use to go to Billy Blanks' Tae Bo studio together. I wanted to hate her, but she was an absolute doll.
Ok, time to watch one of the final episodes of Orphan Black....
