Hi Linville and JC_Aloha,
With all the back-and-forths, I missed your replies. Suits has gotten a bit off course. As I was saying to someone the other day, I have to take my lawyer hat off because I know some of the stuff that went on last season and is still going on this season wouldn't happen in the real world. Donna is one of my favorite characters and I hope she doesn't change. Her banter with just about everyone made the show, as did Mike and Harvey's film references. In the real world, a non-lawyer would never have made Partner, let alone Senior Partner, so fortunately they made her COO, which is a position that doesn't require her to be one. I love Louis, too. He has really grown on me. The part with him and the new Partner and the Honeysuckle plant and cats was great! I don't care what kind of deal was made, in NY, Mike could not be admitted to the bar and practicing without a law degree and license. Never mind the fact that he didn't finish college. I said NY because in a handful of states, you don't need a college degree to go to law school. In even fewer states, you can apprentice under a licensed attorney for a certain number of years and then sit for the bar exam. I don't know if this is still accurate, but when I graduated, if you went to law school at the University of MN, you n't need a bar exam to practice in MN.
But I digress. I hope that Harvey and Donna wind up together, too. Rachel went to law school, passed the bar and practiced law faster than anyone I have ever known. Yes, Harvey is hot. Did you see him in Because I Said So? That was the first movie I remember seeing him in and fell in
With him right then. IRL, he is married to Jacinda Barrett, who got her start on The Real World on MTV. Most recently, she was on Bloodline, a NETFLIX show I highly recommend.
What else? I Like Greta, too. She is kind of sassy but keeps Louis in line.
YES, watch The Last Tycoon, if for no other reason than the gorgeous Matt Bomer. JK. I am only on episode three, but so far it is like nothing else on right now.
