Lunesta sounds like what we have here known as zopiclone, leaves that horrid metallic taste,we don't get ambien here,I have tried it though and it helped me sleep very well.
I used to get nitaz prescribed but was still working at the time and tapered down and stopped using them.
Not heard of halcion here so doubt it is available,if it was it would probably be another they refuse to prescribe.
The z- type meds are now getting hard to get prescribed here, they get classed alongside benzos, why do these meds get made but then docs refuse to prescribe them to so many,I get mirtazapine for depression and doc said it would help with sleeping,it doesn't but has caused a bunch of bad side effects,am being tapered off them by my gp,be glad to be off them.
am being put on trazadone,I had that before and it did help me sleep,I intend to try and not use it every night though, have had enough of these modern meds that we know little of until they start to have a negative impact on our health.
