I have heard of people having real struggles getting off tram as they go into heavy depression.
Also, tramadols can cause seizures in a person whom has not experienced them before. Once one has a seizure, one is prone to them for the rest of their life.

After doing some research as well as having a close friend who is wrapped up with tramadol use, as well as had a seizure in their late 20s, although never had them before starting the use of tramadol.
Make you feel great when on them, depression kicks in like a storm when stopping use.
I would heed the warning.
