We didn't really have music vids as such when i was really young, talking before I was about 10 years old.
First one that I can really think of as a music vid would be Queens Bohemian Rhapsody, was number 1 for quite a while I seem to remember, if it wasn't at number 1 then it should have been, its a pretty amazing song, the way its arranged , its like listening to about 4 different songs within just the one.
I always remember where it got to one point and Freddy Mercury's sat singing at the piano, my mum always used to say, "I can see his tonsils", it was on a show called top of the pops every week, so every week I got to hear my mum say the same thing, "I can see his tonsils", you couldn't actually see his tonsils but you got a shot almost right down his mouth/throat.
Queen were a pretty good band, I'm not really into mainstream music but now and then something appears that is really good such as Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen.
Don't want to post a youtube vid on this thread as it ends up taking a while for the page to load due to my windows 98 dial up modem.
