What's the secret to your chilli? I slow cook mine and add a tiny bit of coco powder. It's funny what extra ingredients give a meal a special kick. Like I have a curry where I cook part of it with a tea bag in the saucepan. You'd NEVER guess there was tea in it, but it adds a special something.
Anyway, do you use real chillis, or dried/powder? I love a good chilli so I'm always trying to steal other people's recipes! :-)
Now I'm thinking about eating the jar of jalapeños in my fridge...
I LOVE the idea of cooking a tea bag in with the curry. I'm definitely going to try that!
I make a black bean, cumin and orange chili--it always disappears! It might sound strange, but the combination is so delicious. (I used dried chili powder.)
