What's the secret to your chilli? I slow cook mine and add a tiny bit of coco powder. It's funny what extra ingredients give a meal a special kick. Like I have a curry where I cook part of it with a tea bag in the saucepan. You'd NEVER guess there was tea in it, but it adds a special something.
Anyway, do you use real chillis, or dried/powder? I love a good chilli so I'm always trying to steal other people's recipes! :-)
Now I'm thinking about eating the jar of jalapeƱos in my fridge...
Hi Barq.....hmmmmm, giving up my secrets.....OK, vaguely. LOL
Three different kind of meats
And Like Mr. Fussbudget....I use cumin....quite nice in moderation (two tablespoons)
Two different kind of beans....black and kidney.
and the secret of all secrets is a carrot based habanero sauce that is as tasty as hot sauces get.....I cheat on the spicy part.
and I use dried chili powder for coloring.
The tea bag and the orange....interesting, I may try them.
