i am sorry u were a victim, barq. it can carry a heavy weight.
lived in the Catholic area. We all attended the schools. There was much abuse of children. The boys were not exempt. The damn gym teacher was abusing all the boys. A few confided that to me. And, i got the nuns to let me do a cheerleading team so no boy had to be alone with Ted Gaynor again. At practices, home games and away.
Predators go after many innocents. Of course it has nothing to do with being gay. This story was presented this morning in a synopsis of the Wash Post by making it sound like he made inappropriate advances now. but to prove that was untrue, he is gay. It was strangely worded.
What u say makes far more sense.
The predator is all about fulfilling his pleasure. It does not matter to him or her whom they choose as prey. Its often a crime of opportunity. They could care less what damages they leave in their wake.
At least some of the bad acts of celebs are starting to come out now. They are certainly not perfect and it takes a strong person to face speaking out. One cannot unless a bunch of others have already come forward cuz courts demoralize the victim. Tear them apart.
