My insurance doesn't cover the Subox0ne Dr visit ($220!!!), but it does cover the medication - 2x 8mg film (16mg) for $35. I also see a separate psychiatrist that insurance DOES pay for, for a low co-pay ($20) at each visit along with xan@x 1mg x3 daily and kl0n0pin 1mg x4 daily.
I will say it wasn't easy to find this subox0ne Dr. I have seen a few in the past, pre-2016, and it was never an issue being on benz0s and subox0ne, the Dr. just had you sign a paper stating knowing the risks. Starting with 2017 (if i recall correctly) it began being an issue with the 2 medications (it was always an issue, but I never got turned away because of my benz0 scripts). My current Sub Dr. now is only able to prescribe me because he is also a psychiatrist. He works with PTSD sufferers as well. A very kind guy. He gave me the option of writing all my prescriptions, or staying with my current psychiatrist that I have been seeing for 5.5 years. I am comfortable with her, and insurance covers all but $20, so I decided to have her continue writing my scripts sans subox0ne. She did recently (finally) get the dreded letter to lower benz0s, so I decided to start titrating off the xan@x and eventually stay on the klon0pin, or possibly switch it over to v@lium instead.
