But I'm not sure that the life-saving properties of this community are always fully appreciated.

I came here about three weeks ago desperate and panicked after a seizure resulting from my Doctor cutting me "cold turkey" off of 3mg alp per day...No insurance, very little income (tough to find work when your GAD and panic attacks are constant and you have the worry of another seizure to come), almost certain I was weeks from losing everything.

Due to the kindness of several members of the community (you know who you are), I had people to talk to when I was at my lowest.  Due to the quality vendors here, I've managed to stockpile enough diaz (yes, diaz...I'll never touch a fast acting, fast clearing benz@ like alp again) to last me a year.

I calmed down to "normal" subsequently, and just yesterday landed a new job.  Things are going to be OK.

Without you all, though, I may very well have become homeless and un-medicated - Perhaps dead from an even more severe seizure.

Thank you all so much.  And keep doing exactly what you're doing...If you saved my life, think of the countless others you are improving / saving.

I am so glad that things seem to be getting better for you. Kudo's to you for sticking with diazapam. A good friend of mine also lost his source when his doctor passed away after having him on 4mg Alp's a day. He could not find another doctor that would give him a legit script fast enough and he ended up in the ER with seizures. We were roommates at the time and I saw first hand the withdrawals leading up to a major seizure.

The people on this forum here are the best. I consider this Forum like a second family to me. Once you get to know the members most of the members here actually really care about you and I and every other member.

We all watch out for each other.

I'll tell you this forum better to talk here and get a no BS assessment here than going to ANY Psychiatrist I have ever been too.
