How does customs seizure affect tracking? I KNOW
#11
Customs to me is like a giant casino. I know when I order my gemstones that once it enters the ISC in NY it’ll be 1 day to 2 weeks (EMS) and I also know that I may not receive anything. Tracking in my experience has always said “inbound into customs” and of course when it clears it updates you on what sort center it’s headed to. Those lost gems never updated from “inbound into customs”....I think I still have a tracking # laying around from early December that hasn’t moved from that status and I’ve received my LL already. This LL was a quick one, they send them a couple weeks to months from when they seize it. I’ve also had one box that I considered a goner, this was a few years back, it was January and out of nowhere in April a box came in, sliced open and poorly taped back up. Contents were still in there, you could clearly see some of the contents inside so I was a little freaked out. I checked the tracking and it said it was incorrect, the date stamped on the box was from January....I took the box and threw it in my shed for a few days. It was a little dramatic looking back but I was pretty stumped and caught off guard lol.
I drifted off subject...back to the Original question, no, I’ve never had any updates/scans that lead me to think I had a goner.
