I wonder why everybody "chases the dragon" after these, or the mysterious Denvers...surely taking an equivalent amount of another brand is just as good, no?

There are so many different factors included in not only synthesis but also what they used to press it with etc. Brands do vary.

And even synthesis is not the same. Anyone can do this simple test. Buy some cheap china creatine and then buy creapura ( creatine made in germany ). Both are creatine, they look complete different. 

When you do a synthesis, there are many subproducts on it, how strictly the synthesis is done will change everything. Is not the same when a drug have 99,999 purity  than when it have 90 %  .
