I HAVE NEVER IN SO MUCH DETAILS GIVEN EXPLANATION TO ANYTHING LIKE I AM DOING NOW JUST BECAUSE TODAY A GUY CALLED ME AND TOLD ME HE IS 56 AND PARALYZED AND ON WHEEL CHAIR AND SENT $500 FOR HIS MEDICATION TO MACROMASS.COM JUST BECAUSE HE CAN'T AFFORD THE MEDICINE COSTS, PRESCRIPTION & DOCTOR COSTS IN US AND HE SURVIVES ON $12,000 PER ANNUM AND THAT SCAMMER/HACKER/NERD AT MACROMASS.COM TOOK HIS MONEY AND NEVER RESPONDED BACK. I WAS SILENT AT THAT POINT AND HAD NOT A SINGLE WORD TO SAY TO HIM TO TELL HIM THAT I CAN UNDERSTAND HIS PAIN AND IF I COULD I WOULD HAVE TORN THAT BASTARD APART WHO TOOK MONEY FROM SOMEONE IN NEED WHO PUT HIS HARD EARNED MONEY AND HIS FAITH IN HIM AND HE VERY EASILY SCAMMED HIM OUT OF HIS MONEY AND THE ONLY HOPE HE HAD TO GET MEDICATION TO SURVIVE AND TO SAVE A FEW BUCKS FOR A BETTER LIVING OR FOR SAVING UP FOR BAD TIMES. THE WORDS THAT GUY SAID TO ME TORN ME APART WHEN HE SAID HE CAN BEG TO ME ONLY TO HELP HIM NOW. AND I SAID PLEASE DON'T DO THAT OR ELSE I WOULD DIE OF GUILT."


There are no words to describe the psychopathic monstrosity that has occurred here. I feel physically sick reading this in the knowledge that these scammers have done something so awful...no, awful is not the word...there are no words to describe what has happened here. This is utterly disgusting. I am not an aggressive person and rarely ever feel angry but reading this has made me furious. How can these scammers live with themselves knowing this. They manage to live without a conscience, a heart, or a soul.

Whilst there will be many more people out there like this who we don't know about, we should try to help who we can when such information comes to this communities attention. I very strongly believe that action needs to be taken. I don't believe this would be against the rules but I'm sure most of you are familiar with GoFundMe (link; https://uk.gofundme.com). If we manage to set up a funding page to try to get a target of $500 this man needs then we can do certainly make a difference. Charron or one of the mods - please let me know your thoughts on this matter. 

In my personal opinion, this opportunity to help a vulnerable member of society could be hugely beneficial if done right - for example, we need to ensure that IOP is not associated with the GFM page so that no unwanted attention is brought here, and as long as we remain vigilant to newbies who cry wolf and say they've been scammed and asked for a GoFundMe page they should simply not be even entertained. We can't take risks. The above quote has come from the man, the legend, the hero himself, Macromass - who as we are all aware is as trustworthy as they come. Whilst I highly doubt it'd ever come to this, if a long time poster here tried to pull such a stunt, we would inform the individual of a strict require,emtthat only the most in depth proof provided (screenshots of emails, and bank transfers or bitcoins paid, screenshots of correspondence between vendor and customer etc) to ensure we aren't made a fool out of. Perhaps several Admins could analyse and evaluate the legitimate nature of proof provided instead of just one Admin/Mod to ensure that all angles are covered. I do not mean to offend any posters who are long term members of the community, many of whom have welcome me in with nothing but open arms, warm words and tremendous tales of times in their lives I find absolutely fascinating. My reasoning for bringing this up is to ensure that this is likely to hopefully be a one off because of course many people here barely have enough money for their own magazines and we can't afford to be looking for funding for a new person every week. 

With that being said, I'd like to to now focus back on to my main point for posting this today - IOP, in our hands is a potential gift to a man who is suffering so much right now, and we have been presented with a rare instance in which we are able to reclaim justice for a vulnerable individual in what will have already been a difficult life for him with his illness. I'm sure many of us can not only sympathise, but also strongly and deeply empathise with the severe and unbearable pain that ccomes with a chronic illness, whether occurrimg through physical or psychological means. If I was in this fellows shoes and this was arranged for me I would have my faith stored in humanity and remember such a wonderful act of kindness from strangers for the rest of my life. I truly believe we could raise the money with the members we have here and I for one would be happy to contribute as much as I reasonably can. It may not be much, but I will do my bit.

Maybe we won't be able to reach the goal of $500. But in my eyes, after everything this man has had to physically and now emotionally endure. If we fall slightly short, it is still much more than this man is in a position ANY time soon to get towards. Every little counts when we work together as a community.

But this for sure would bring unwanted attention to the forum because you can stop your self but not other from mentioning this forum Name on any such website or forum or page. Therefore it’s a good idea but not secure enough. The person who was affected has been compensated very well and is happy. There are ways we can help others and one of those ways is by protecting them with knowledge and prayers and warnings. That is what we all should do.
