I am excited for the new season of The Crown to come out in December. I find it so informational on the life of a monarch. The lines of succession and the whole royal family.
Besides that I just re-watched the entire series of game of thrones. So much that I missed that I understand now. Honestly the best show of its kind I've ever seen. I can't wait 2 years for the last season. Gonna have to fill the time until then.

Any younglings on here remember "Soap". It was like "Arrested Development" for the 80's and a precursor to "Benson". I loved that show. It use to be on Netflix when they first started the streaming service.

Hi, Ivor. As per your sig line: we are ugly but we have the music. Allegedly about janis joplin and leonard cohen. He was the master.
However, tonight Gold Rush starts again. But, i really listen to shows such as gold rush and Investigation Discovery during the day. I listen to it at nite to sleep. It should terrify me, but it does not. However on the Vincent d'ofrio?? episodes of law and order, I fell asleep listening to law and order. And awakened terrified in a cold sweat cuz the cop was the killer. That was a big fear of mine when younger. Fake police officers.
So, reason unknown, I can handle Investigation Discovery. One learns whom to avoid. It is just great for an attorney whom longs for justice and does not practice anymore.
But, tonite: Gold Rush. Have awesome nights guys and gals. Even if you have to work tomorrow.

I have to agree with Rattzo, Rick and Morty is amazing! I find it has evolved from being merely a comedy cartoon to being able to satire and explore many aspects of modern society. It is definitely my favourite sci fi cartoon at the moment.
Watched many series over the years but there are definitely some probably lesser known gems out there, black sails being one. Some of the scenes from season 2 on build the excitement to a similar pedigree as the great scenes from game of thrones.

Wubalubadubdub! Rick and Morty is my Squanch. It just keeps getting better. And then there is STRANGER THINGS 2! Just a fantastic follow up to season 1 and so much great nostalgia for those of us who existed in the 80's. If you haven't seen it yet it is on Netflix, heavily influenced by Stand by Me, the original IT, and all of the other great horror movies and coming of age tales from the eighties. WATCH IT! Especially if you have fond memories of 83', 84' or 85'. It will transport you, they have got the era down to a T. -Ivor
