Charon, this is for you.

My sis and I listened to this over and over and over. We were about 7 years old? It was a 45 vinyl record and the other side had “Black Velvet Band” on it. I have no idea if it was our older sister’s, or if it was given to us by a relative. All I know is that we loved it and we memorized it. I didn’t know until just now that it was written by Shel Silverstein.
