Three variations on tuvan throat singing. When I previewed this post I could only see links rather than videos, so I want to give credit to the performers:

These are a single throat singer to his own accompaniment (the video doesn't name the song, performer, or the instrument, but I would like to try to find some information. The second is Huun Huur Tu w/ Angelite which combines a group of Tuvan vocalists and a Bulgarian choir; the third is The HU, "Wolf Totem," which puts the songs before them into a.....different context. (Not to mock but I'm having problems describing this to any potential listeners in a way that feels right).

Thank you kindly @ Roses!

I"m looking forward to seeing the Jackson Browne video. I'm not sure if you've heard it , but he did a version of "Doctor My Eyes"
on Storytellers or something similar with what he said was his original arrangement (though I will need to go and see if I can substantiate that)--there were more vocals and more space. It was an interesting take on the song I guess but I ended up preferring the original. Either way I have a sentimental attachment to  sme ofthose songs--a close relative was at one of the shows he used for 'Running on Empty.'!
