Switching directly from Alprazolam to Clonazepam.

I had to switch just because of lack of alternative and I had no adverse effects whatsoever. I prefer the Xanax so went back once supply was replenished.

I switch between Aprazolam and Clonazepam on a monthly basis to avoid tolerance with no issues whatsoever. With xanax i prob use .5mg threee times daily or sometimes 4 times daily. With clonazepam, .75mg twice daily is perfect.

As others have mentioned, you can switch and the longer half-like of the C-pam should stave off withdrawal issues. It you want to stop entirely, Valium's super-long half-Life is often the medical protocol used by professionals.
