I wish to know if someone else here ever had the same reaction like mine .

I have the same reaction to amphetamines and I have to be careful. I will have no appetite, and I am already at a relatively healthy weight. When on it, I can easily lose about 25 pounds because I'm just not hungry...and I've been told I don't look too healthy either. In the long run, my energy is depleted...and I definitely have to take breaks. It's not healthy for my body, but does indeed help with my inattentive ADD. I try to take it only when needed. I was on Adderall, however, with a prescription.

And what I like most in ritalin is that despite I cut on my calories is that I can still have the right amount of energy to get involved into activities. If on addies for more that few days I feel tired and my body start having ups and downs as well my brain does. It is different I think when you want to remain in shape instead of having to overcome a difficult night shift.

Phentermine has worked great for me. But after a while the effects aren't as noticeable.

I lift weights more now and you can't just take phen and expect great results - you have to eat healthy and also add in workout. I also go to gym 5-6 days a week and burn 800-1000 on those days on the elliptical. Spend 2-3 hours at gym, lots of stretching but do BS with girls as much as possible by asking them stupid questions on their workout routines.

Won't take the Phen after 9am = bedtime issues for me getting to bed by 11pm.

Weight 2/15/18 - 204 lbs (day I started commitment to Gym)
weight 4/15/18  - 189 lbs (day I started Phen)
weight today     - 163.2 lbs

Like I said, it does well to suppress my appetite and now those jeans I saved from yesteryear's that used to be too tight, are now slipping off too. I am aiming for 158 lbs, but actually I am beginning to lift weights more than cardio so I may stagnate, protein added to diet more now as well. I live on Kind Bars, Boost, and Beef Jerky - all bought on Amazon. No shopping at a grocery store except for cream for my coffee and fruits and nuts. I cut out all sugar, reduced carbs huge, and no soda.

Oh I just drilled second hole in my belt - It's so long I just need to suck it up and but a new one.

Oh and per my above post from me - I found Plan B and Plan C - "B" actually my preferred vendor now, love that vendor, glad I hit 50 posts to find.

Reminds me - I better get to gym - the girls dont make it there till about this time on the weekends, kinda how I stagger my gym schedule.

I totally get you, I'm also on a balanced diet- I shop once a week and plan all my meals in advance. The pill just takes away that urge to eat anything that isn't planned for- excess carbs particularly, or to overeat when I know I've had enough. I've been starting exercising again for the first time in a couple of years and while it ain't easy, I can feel improvements already.

My doctor told me that she would prescribe it for 3 months so I have to build good habits that I will continue to follow after I stop taking the pill. By no means do I believe it to be a miracle, I just needed a bit of help muting that part of my brain telling me to eat
