COVID UPDATES. TIME TO DECIDE ABOUT SPREADING COVID
Means so much for your prayer Charon.

And Bubba please be careful. This virus doesn’t care who you are. I know you must be in the same house as your wife but try to limit contact with her until she is up to speed.

And slick thank you for the prayers. It helps knowing you guys are out there and care. I was supposed to go to Ohio for Christmas and my mother’s 90th birthday was Dec 30 and I couldn’t be there. I still feel so bad. You always think will this be the last holiday.

As sick as I have been I feel I was still one of the lucky ones. It didn’t affect my breathing. My lungs yes because I got pneumonia but at least that was treatable with antibiotics. I also got a si use infection last week so still fighting that. One thing I have noticed is I am so fatigued. Going up or down the steps is like climbing a mountain. For all of you that live alone make sure you have someone you can call on if you need help if you get Covid. You don’t know how it will hit you and you will need fluids like juices, soups etc. I am just starting to get my appetite back. And I went back to work this past Wednesday. But I work from home. I only worked 1/2 days though.

I pray for everyone out there, PLEASE wear your masks where ever you are. Keep your distance from others, sanitize whatever touch when you are out.

Talk soon.

My prayers go out to you also Orange Rabbit. Covid is unbelievably scary. I thought living where I live ,( very rural) We wouldn't have to worry too much. Of course I was wrong. It is everywhere. The bars around here have never shut down and no one wears a mask or social distance. It is sad. Stay on the recovery path.

Good for you xenotype!! Been trying to get my parents a vaccine for days here in NY with no luck. Both are health compromised but that doesn’t seem to matter since the roll out has been mismanaged so far.

My residents and staff have not gotten the vaccine yet and I get frustrated to hear in my state when people are getting the vaccine before the geriatric population who are very vulnerable and the front line workers who take care of them.  Frustrating

NY, in the very county where we discovered covid in US, Westchester, we cannot get the shots. People were scheduled. And they were called and it was put off.

One lady, healthcare, medical issues, scheduled but has to wait till march. We gotta get the vaccines, two doses, and within a certain time limit or we have to start again.

The rates here are as high as back in march. Old ppe is being worn by nurses. Again.

RiteAid, an awful pharmacy, was supposed to inject people in Westchester. New rule came out today from King Cuomo that RiteAid is no longer authorized to give the vaccines.

And Cuomo stated if we live in westchester, we must be vaccinated in westchester. And he will have people checking. Turning us in.

The covid forum is all about people not being able to get the vaccine in some of the hardest hit areas. Good luck, all.

Wow I feel silly for complaining now,  I think our situation isn't as bad as that .  We were told now that we should be getting it in a week or too.

Where I live my state received 3million vaccines. To date only 1 million have been given. Supposed reason, covid is raging in the southern part of the state and not enough people to give the vaccine. I say, governors knew the vaccine was coming. Why didn’t they prepare appropriately. Now people that really need them can’t get them.
