Yes, the feelings are indescribable. Yet your words described perfectly what I felt when I was going through this.

It was like being adrift, and not knowing where I was, or who I was. The very floor I stood on would just seem to disappear. It’s a floundering feeling, and it would come upon me suddenly, and without warning.

PLEASE remember to treat yourself the same way that you would treat a family member, or a very close friend, who was going through this. 

Give yourself time, rest, and never feel guilty for the different feelings you have while grieving. Don’t let ANYONE tell you when you “should be done” grieving. It is NOT a straight line. And we’re all so individual.

You are loved by so many here. We deeply care about you, and your family, Macro.

You are in my prayers, as well as many others here.

God, be with Macro. Place your peace all around him, and his family. Your peace which surpasses all understanding. And please guard his heart and mind through Our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Hello I been on ioplist for several years and keep seeing good reviews about MM I'm just haven't taken the plunge. How many successful mags have you got?

In the past couple months I’ve gotten like 6 mags, from different places and all successful. Even had one a while ago that was unsuccessful but he more than made up for it when I just expected it to be a complete loss. Mac is a stand up guy, compassionate and caring and truly a good person. No need to worry with him, He always comes through.

It hurts so much that it’s impossible to believe you will ever feel like “you” again.

Except that you WILL get through this. That horrible mix of feelings in your stomach and chest? It moves away from those type of feelings, and instead is in your mind, without the punch in the gut, and shock. It becomes a memory, but without the wrenching pain. 

You’ll find yourself thinking about it, and realize it’s not a feeling like it was. It’s a thought. But without the pain and shock.

To a point, we have to push it away, but that’s so we can still be there for others. But when it hits, let yourself feel it. Let it hit you. Let it hit you hard. That’s the way we heal. 

People who push painful feelings away in order to not have to deal with them…still have to face those feelings, anyway. Only it’s worse when a person tries not to feel. Because dealing with it later, and ohhhh they will, has added anxieties, emotions and pain.

Every time the feelings hit you like a ton of bricks, or you feel immersed in them? Allow it. It’s awful, I know. It’s difficult. But LET YOURSELF FEEL IT, because that’s you HEALING.

Like a wound on our bodies. Our bodies fight off infection and it’s painful. But that also means the wound is healing.

If we break a bone, or get hurt and require rehabilitation, we have to go through the rehabilitation no matter how painful it is, in order to heal.

And it STINKS. It really does. But you’re healing. You won’t necessarily feel like you’re healing. Some days you’ll feel like you’re back at day one. 

You’re not, though.

You will get through this. You ARE getting through this. And, The Lord will help you. He will give you more strength and grace through His Spirit.

You have a lot of people praying for you, and you’re facing it, which means you’re definitely going to heal.  You ARE HEALING.
