Keanu has 'reportedly' read all of Proust's Remembrance of Things Past. ALL of it. (Just for context, the work is 1,500,000 words long and about 7 volumes. It's most famously known to be about 3,000 pages long.)

"So in the end, I think we can all pretty well agree that even in the face of tragedy, a stellar person can thrive. No matter what's going on in your life, you can overcome it! Life is worth living."

He plays bad ass characters, quiet and effectively. I think the director on the last one let KR do what he felt fit the character rather than trying to "get him to emote".

Although obviously I am not @Kitty, that is the only film he ever did with Cameron Diaz (back in the day before all her steroids and plastic) so it must be it.

I only hated the film, because she is an absolute nightmare to work with.  DIVA doesn't even half describe it.

And Keanu is too youngish looking (for my tastes).

I am not old at all, but I prefer his matured looks and the fact that after years and years of being an actor, he is still a basically quite guy.

I ramble.  Forgive me.

Hope you enjoy it @Kitty.

If you need a link to view it, just say so, I've quite a few.

Keep well.  CL

No bother at all.

Here's a pic from the film for your "viewing pleasure" @Kitty.

PS - I don't reckon the @ thing works at all.  Just habit with me!

Enjoy.   Heart

"I was raised to show respect. I was taught to knock before I open a door. Say hello when I enter a room. Say please and thank you, and to have respect for my elders. I'd let another person have my seat if they need it. Say 'yes sir' and 'no sir', and help others when they need me to, not stand on the sidelines and watch. Hold the door for the person behind me, say 'excuse me' when it's needed and to love people for who they are and not for what I can get from them and most importantly, I was also raised to treat people exactly how I would like to be treated by others. It's called respect. If you were raised in this way then share this everyday of your life"

Me, I'm more of an Anthony Bourdain lady.  He's not pretty, young, but he's got something I like.

Fight over him?   LOL  Surely you're taking the mick!   Tongue

I've no intention of fighting over a person I don't know.

But he seems quiet and thoughtful and kind and respectful.  Feck the looks, he's not pretty to me and I never fancied his looks when he was young.

Good luck.

Don't really fancy the song, but I do like the compilation of more recent pics in this video.

Best wishes, everyone!
