Well done Charon and MadMax! To all who read this, if you come across a post which breaks any rules please hit the little "report" button. Bottom of the post on the right hand side. If we all played super-sleuth it would make Charon, MadMax and others jobs easier and we could eliminate the desimination of info much quicker. Just my 2 cents.
Peace!

Wow beautiful post Allegory. Now that was something to read, very poetic. Couldn't help but smile reading that. Brightened up my day. Thank you

I peered out upon the harbor.

My comrades were waiting for the signal.

Overseas commerce had become a dangerous endeavour.

Privateers offered contracts they had no intent to fill.

The Royal Navy attacked shipments in transit.

The people suffered.

In our safe harbor, the captains were eager with hope.

I crested the ridge, to the place where I would hang my signal.

The kerosene flame howled in the winds.

The highest point of visibility, who knew how many necks craned to see.

I opened the lantern side, tossing a handful of boric acid in.

The waves jumped to life with flashes of emerald.

And I cried out to the night:

"Let us not forget, there is hope."

I do hope and pray that you and yours are doing as best as possible and also, that you can find a few moments to pass here.... You Sir are an extremely valuable asset to any community and to this one, you are a grand pillar.

I know I speak for several when I say, you are always on my mind and I always await your input on things ( ok I would say I await with baited breath, but my bait always has a bad smell Smile )

Anyhoo... You are indeed always missed and bring a fresh cool breeze when you come here...

Take good care my dear friend ...

graviedone, I'll be curious to hear your results as well! Thanks all!

Edit to add that I'm curious to hear everyone's review within the confines of the forums rules, of course. ? I'm hoping to make a purchase soon, but am  still a bit nervous  about this one. It has everything I am in need of though.
