Thoughts on Bitcoin as payment?
#21
I know that many were totally unhinged when LE/DEA showed up at their doors with their package of trams. From a vendor they were trying to take down.

Some will never order again as it was so terrifying.

A 18 yr old american was charged yesterday with bringing in tainted meds. He crossed from SY territory. Certain vendors are receiving extreme scrutiny.

I read wisdom in IOPness's post. These are dangerous times for any tricks. Be careful all.

Maybe I missed the 'trick' mentioned in this thread, but I would agree overall with IOPNess. You never trade your crypto unless you have a secured wallet and if it was for something that would raise suspicion, get rid of the wallet afterwards.

Here is a link for those that are using crypto. Please read this page (I know it's a little lengthy) and do not take the advice lightly as it may save your butt in more ways than one.

Thanks for the input all. I'll be looking into a couple types of wallets. The rabbit hole runs deep on this topic and things really have taken a turn for the worse. I stand corrected on my 'Trick'. It's best to attempt to cover ones tracks after a transaction. I'm not sure it's possible to completely cover your tracks, barring some pretty extream measures, but I'll shoot for a happy medium.
Far as "big fish" I was referring to mixing/laundering but looks like Big Brother is after EVERYTHING now.

I am sending you a pm. Once you learn how to do it, is really easy and secure. Plus some magazine sellers give you an extra discount when you use it

I’ve tried using BTC awhile back for something I knew was to good to be true and of course it was. I found it very hard to use or maybe I just didn’t quite understand what I was doing. Which more than likely got my account frozen. It wasn’t much and I was able to get my funds back. So I just prefer to use other methods which seem easier.

Hi mxray,

Was your wallet account frozen for an iop transaction? Just curious if it was in fact an iop, nothing else. Thanks.....

Yes that’s exactly why it was frozen. I didn’t know they would do that but I found out ?

well, if true, that sucks. THEY are stopping usage of bitcoins toward a vendor?

i hope u all can find a way around it.

if they stop all of the chronically ill and anxious and in pain people from ordering, many will take chances or choose to end it all.

Is this possible? They nailed bitcoins now? in US? froze ur acct?
