You can either T&W (toss and wash...basically put the powder in your mouth and swallow with a dru k of your choice, imo milk is the best to disguise the awful taste) or put it into capsules if the taste is too strong. Personally the taste and to a smaller extent the smell makes me feel sick so I buy mine pre-capped from kraatje.eu to avoid having to make a mess or faff about putting the powder into capsules myself! 0.5 -  1.5G is a good starter dose, as although 3G is probably a nicer dose once you get used to the effects, you never know if you'll be a responder for whom Kratom feels too strong, and as such a precautionary first time low dose is a good idea. If you don't feel much, work your dose up the next time until you find your sweet spot. There are red, green and white strains - you can reds are more sedating, whites are more energising and greens are smack bang in the middle. You should always do your own research before putting anything potentially psychologically and physically addictive into your body so whilst that's all the basics, I'd advise to look up as much as possible regarding this plant as you can before making an order

Kratom helps me slightly but it’s been no miracle. I also got mine from a very reputable vendor and have tried numerous strains. They help. They do help. It’s just if one is indeed on an opiate, I would never suggest thinking this will substitute. In my personal opinion, they aren’t like opiates which is a good thing and I cannot understand how the govt even attempted to ban this knowing how many people were helped by it. This stuff is nothing like an opiate in my opinion but that also means it should not legally be treated like one.

Kratom tastes like crap.....
A vendor recommended using chocolate flavored almond milk and it slurries. This works!
I was stoked as I don’t recommend mixing with liquid as it floats to the top.

Those death numbers are shady as Charon said there is no other mention of what was in their systems and when there was it was a bunch of stuff and DVT that anyone can get.

Please don’t ban Kratom, it works for pain when my tramadol tolerance gets too high. I would say Kratom has kept me off opioids. Come on Man (the man), it has been used for thousands of years.

Fact: in Indonesian villages the men who ate more Kratom were seen as a better fit to wed single girls as the men on Kratom Worked hard. Men who smoked too much MJ were too be avoided.

The best way IMO is using empty capsules, they are super cheap!

I tried the red vine strain, and was shocked that it helped a lot with my shoulder pain. I have to have reconstruction surgery on it, so was happy about that! If it was left up to Big Pharma and the government, you would need a script for aspirin!

And yet many states are trying to outlaw kratom. Kratom works very well for my anxiety and occasional lethargy... but I just found out the bill to outlaw it already has 3/4ths of the required votes in my state legislature. Time to stock up. Maybe make some freeze-dried kratom lollipops haha

In all seriousness, for anything considering making a bulk purchase/coordinating a stockpile of Kratom they've already bought, keeping it in a cool, dry container away from sunlight will keep its potency stable for a long period of time. However with the new US laws coming in I'm guessing possession will be illegal too, although I haven't seen the actual wording of the drafted Act.
