Bingo, Starlite.....UGH. I thought this might be a victim support group meeting and if so, I thought I'd stop by. All I can say is #&!!**! regarding my experience with Starlite. Preying on people who are hurting and desperately looking for help.....then promising those folks the moon, taking their money and then ending correspondence. Jim/starlite is the definition of evil!
The only bit of hope I can offer is that my first magazine showed up from them (him). It was late, but I was so thrilled that I ordered multiple magazines. The end result was nothing to read and my money was gone.

I had used SL/Jim for years with never a problem. Then he went dark and as I did my research I realized how lucky I was. I still get an email every few months now about ordering and I never had a problem in the past, but it's just not worth the risk. I was using tt2mu for the past 5 years with awesome results and now they too have gone dark. I'm back at square one - this board is definitely a great lifeline of information.

Those of us who have been around the block a few times have had an experience or 2 with the BL’d vendors. I never understand why newbies don’t head to that section as soon as they join us. I learned so much, in the old, old days and still do about how to stay safe and find the best reading material by reading good review threads and BL threads.
A lot of folks made a lot of donations to BL vendors, me included. We all benefit from those experiences. And so we owe a debt of gratitude to each other. Sometimes being one of the first into the pool paid off, but more often, it didn’t.
So thank you to everyone who posts reviews and experiences from which we all learn. Rumor

I was scammed by pink. Does anyone know a way to get back the money? Pink never shipped anything and flat out took my hard earned money. Such a classic scam. Does anyone know how to get a scamming source to refund the money.

Wannabenormal18......what ghostofjack said.
If it makes you feel better you can email Pink daily, just to be annoying. If your email gets blocked, just use a different email. It probably won’t make anything appear, but might make you feel better.
It happens or happened to all of us. Cherry broken. Monetary loss and wounded pride are lousy outcomes. Unfortunately, it comes with the territory. Welcome to the club!!
One thing we all learn from the good forums, is that reading is FUNdamental. Expensive lesson many of us have paid to have. Clubmember, Rumor
