Ten times a year. Good info Ice.
Its a good thing we are disposable people to L E, as it sounds like more and more of us will be without medicine or appropriate medical care very soon. Most would order once a month. So, does one order more, or does one go down to one pill a day when they were scripted more than that even a year ago.
I am up for Cash in mail.

FYI about WU. Besides limiting how many times you can send, they are also limiting how many times you can send to a particular person and also the amount.
Has happened to me.

Just wanted to share that I've reached and surpassed the supposed '10 transactions' to the 'same individual' per year.
I've never used WUonline, I always go in-person. I do have to show ID on occasion (depending the specific location), though many times they simply ask for my phone#. Where I'm located, as soon as they got rid of the old WU forms that one would fill out, I had to give them my ID, phone#, etc. and I assume they set me up with an 'account'.
In their system they have all of the senders to who I have sent funds to (they've shown me their screens and what they see), though in the layout that the tellers see, they don't know how much was sent to any particular individual from previous transactions (I've asked before, as I could not remember the exact amount that I needed to send; carelessness on my end).
Maybe this new limit is for people sending much more $ than I usually do and the # of times the same individual can receive funds is somewhat dependent on the amount being sent. So far I'm doing just fine. Again, I always go to a location IN PERSON.
I did check the WU online as I was tempted one busy week to send that way and saw an insane fee for using debit or credit cards, not even including the fee for sending outside the US. For individuals that are able to...going in person will save you a LOT of money if this is your preferred method of payment. Of course there's nothing I can do about the fee for sending to another country but if I were relegated to having to send online using WU, I would not be able to afford it plain and simple. They aren't scary people. Just average janes and joes who are trying to earn some money for living. They aren't interested in harassing you for sending money and I'd guess >99% of them couldn't care less about who, what, or why you are using WU to send money. In all my years of using their services for sending, I can only recall one individual that was CURIOUS as to why/what I was sending money to that area of the world for. Strictly curiosity. So I gave a very polite answer about how wonderful their 'hand-crafted' sheets are from that country...that I've been spoiled by comfortable linens and love supporting individuals that put forth the time and effort to make such quality sheets. I received a "oh wow! That must be amazing! I'd have trouble trying to convince my husband to get a set like that because it's a little pricey". My response: "Yeah, I know...but I'm willing to pay this to have the best!"
If anyone else has any other information about the '10' limit, please let us know. I have not had any problems yet and don't suspect I will in the future.

I don't think if a company accepts WU only it makes it a scam website. The source I used for years only accepted WU or MG and they sent every time!

I tried sending money via Western Union through one of their kiosk locations near me. They took my money and processed the transfer. Several days later, I received notification that the funds were not sent and a refund was being issued. At that time, I had only sent funds via Western Union only 3 times and it wasn't a lot of money. I had to call WU to obtain a new MTCN number so I could pick up my refund. They told me the funds could not be sent to certain countries because of "security issues" and advised me to reduce the amount being sent and try again, but they couldn't tell me how much I could sent. They were very vague about the specific reasons why the funds could not be sent. I had sent funds to that country one time previously. I ended up sending the money to the Vendor via bitcoin.

My heart palpitates so hard when I'm doing my transactions with WU. It's the scariest part of the whole order process for me.
