Just to clarify, my mom gets disability, she’s unable to work. She is not entitled to a stimulus check, right?

Yes, she should be getting one. If she makes less that seventy five thousand, she should get twelve hundred.
So the gvt already has her banking info. Let her check her account.

It would be much easier for it to be direct deposited. The cards add another hoop to access the money. Government aren’t the most efficient. I hope she gets her money soon.
That’s what I thought since her SSI is direct deposited, I figured her stimulus money would be too but it hasn’t been. But she hasn’t received anything, I try to track on their site and it doesn’t give any info. I guess looking out for the check or debit card will be last hope. I would think the cards would be even easier to steal then the check though... unless you need your SSN to activate it. But I highly doubt the govt is that smart to add that little feature. If not anyone could just take it and use it like a gift card.

And since no one mentioned a debit/credit card going out, i heard on local news that some almost through the card out.
i heard a newscaster state that the debit cards will start to go out this week and beginning of next.
She has to get her mail inside fast cuz people are tampering with mail boxes in attempts to steal a check or card. And she must be careful if it comes. The criminals are horrible.
I pray she receives soon. My group of disability to social security direct deposit came a couple days ago. And the cards are coming last. They are way behind.

Did you see WHO (I believe) saying catching for asymptomatic person is rarer than initially predicted? This is so confusing. If it’s symptomatic people spreading it I would think numbers wouldn’t rise drastically since EVERYONE knows do not leave your house if you are sick. Here grocery and pharmacy will deliver food/RX for free for sick people. So no need for them to be in a store. I will keep wearing a mask, not touching my face, and use proper hand washing technique.

The WHO also insisted we don't need masks. And today they announced: oops, masks do contain the spread it would appear.
One assumes most agencies and big wigs in this tragedy, have something to gain by every statement they make.
It is best to check on facts for yourself. Cuz really, no one gives a damn about many of us now. We are deemed useless eaters. I am glad u will stay safe. Wise.

And the numbers are coming in. No masks? No absence of covid.
There are still massive cases around the world. And the cases have spiked in quite a few southern states. No official data on why only some southern states had a rise in covid yet again.

I live on county line. One county masks are mandatory other one they are not, I shop in the mandatory one because everyone wears them. Now that the focus hasn’t been covid 24/7 on the news people act like it’s over and aren’t wearing masks or social distancing. I can’t imagine what the numbers of new cases will be in 2 weeks after all the protests. Here people are mostly wearing mask for protests but not practicing social distance because how can you in a protest.

Not just from the rioters and protestors. The President is having his first big second election run. In Tulsa where blacks were killed many yrs ago. On Juneteenth, june 19, which is a new tribute to the day slavery ended in US. or so they say.
So, The president is holding a rally right there. Right then. And one must sign a waiver to not sue Trump should one become infected by covid at the rally. Or killed at the rally.
That says to me, the President knows damned well it is not safe to go to a mass rally when covid numbers are spiking.
If it is a hoax, why do they need to sign they won't sue when they get it?
And, because of Mr. President, his followers dont wear masks either. But for the intervention of the Lord God himself, we are getting so close to: its all over now baby blue.
