Ok, the covid forum i do on the side is overwhelmed. People claim tis worse than march in the suburbs of NY. i find it hard to believe.

We lost so many then also. But even before we see what happened on Thanksgiving cuz people were stubborn and really wanted to spread the holiday "cheer" we see tons of people dying. quickly. alone.it was not expected often.

But, the biggest concern is those of us whom did not go out. Did not take risks. We quarantined. But these same people are developing covid now. Tons of them. And they are dying in days, not weeks.

We got the meds down. Testing still sucks. But the only thing we do not do is wear the face shield or eye goggles as healthcare workers do.

Methinks we should. We are not protecting our eyes and that is a very valid way this virus spreads.

I spent Thanksgiving alone as is my living situation.  I had invitations to go to be with a couple of friends, but they
all had family coming that are not there normally.  I thanked my friends but told them Next Year!!  And after having spent most of the weekend consoling a very good friend who is also my neighbor I am so very glad of my choice!

The lady next door is 69.  Has some health issues as we do as we get to that age.  She called me the Sunday before Thanksgiving and said she was not feeling very good.  Just body aches, etc.  Well, she has 2 daughters that are married and both have 3 kids.  One family lives in N. Carolina and the other in Virginia.  She told me that Sunday she hoped she was not getting a cold because they were all going to be flying in for Thanksgiving and staying with her.
 
My first thought was NO!!

So I pushed her and told her to go get a Covid test THAT DAY (Sunday) hoping she could get results quick.  She went and got tested at the ER.  And we spoke everyday including Thanksgiving morning and she still was not feeling any better.

Long story short, the family arrived, the daughters made dinner while Mom rested.  Everyone left Friday to get back home.  And she was getting sicker this whole time.

She called me Saturday around 1:00.  She had just received the call on her test result.  She is positive.  So she exposed her whole family for 3 days!  Her feelings of guilt were terrible as she cried on the phone to me.

Today my doorbell rang and it was an EMT.  She was being transported to the hospital and she asked that someone come tell me.  He had all his PPE on and I didn't open my glass screen door when I saw him.  I knew why he was there.  We just talked thru the glass and I sent him back with a message telling her to get better quick and get back home.

I have spoken to her daughters.  They told me they would let me know how things were going.  They are both scared to death of getting sick.  They are both staying home with husbands and kids for the 14 days and they are doing a whole lot of praying!!
 
I don't think I will ever get to have a summer night sitting outside with my neighbor ever again.  I am praying really hard for this woman.  A cancer survivor.  But this virus took her down in about 7 days!!!  At this point my only way of knowing anything will be when one of her girls calls me.

So PLEASE avoid a repeat of this type of story with the upcoming Holidays!!!!  I was not happy sitting here alone watching TV!  And I didn't make a turkey for just me.  Just had some things I enjoy.  But being alone is not so bad when you look at the results of this type of tragedy.

BREAKING: The United States on Wednesday surpassed 100,000 COVID-19 coronavirus hospitalizations — a record-high since the beginning of the pandemic, according to the COVID Tracking Project.

The dreaded next wave has been here already. I guess the thanksgiving deaths will be deemed third wave.

It was getting quieter in covid forum. but then came winter. Nurses are striking round here. Hospitals are being over run. It is mandatory that some patients in nursing facilities round here sign a do not resucitate form. If they have covid. And, compared to King Cuomo's gaffe, this is nothing. Please, your life and the lives of your loved ones depend on your actions if you go near them. And, if they respect you, they will take your advise. Give wise advice people.

I am already preparing for Christmas. I live alone and will visit my elderly parents. To do this safely I'm about to start 15 days of self-isolation. The max incubation period is 14 days, so it seems a reasonable way of ensuring I'm not walking the virus into their house (especially if I had it asymptomatically). 

Just to add some extra chaos, the UK is finally completing the Brexit process and it is obvious there will be utter chaos at the new border between the UK and EU nations. The fear is consignments of fresh food will rot and vital medicine supplies could be interrupted.

Although in vaccine news, the Pfizer one is approved and will be offered to front line NHS staff next week. (I understand some of us are anti-vaccine, but in the UK it is entirely voluntary. I'll be getting one, although they are prioritising older people and those with certain medical conditions so I'll be waiting a while.) However, we need to keep doing as Charon says, wearing the masks, even eye protection, for a long time yet.

7 Washington state nursing home residents with Covid-19 died after staff members attended a 300-person wedding that violated the governor's coronavirus restrictions. hxxps://on.msnbc.com/3qsw7tP

It happened in Maine. Some arses felt a big 300 person wedding in the spring would be loverly. but they wound up infecting people with covid in about five states. Not sure of the death toll at this moment.

Now in Washington, In violation of Governor orders and health mandates, the staff from a nursing home went to another 300 person wedding. Doctors, nurses and other health care providers. So far, seven nursing home residents have already died from said wedding. One of the members of the covid forum lost her niece already and this happened just maybe a week or two ago. People have no underlying conditions and they are dying young and quickly and they have no idea. They think they can go to a hospital tomorrow. And they are found dead.

Many would like the hospital staff to be fired. And legal charges brought against them. We don't even know how many those Super Spreader party people infected in their own homes and neighborhoods yet.

Don't do weddings. Not of 300 people. Unless you set up testing tables at the ceremony. At least two brides chose to not have the weddings recently and gave the food to the homeless that one can find everywhere in NY suburbs and City now.

You gotta get these irresponsible hateful rat bastards to stop killing your grandparents and aunts by ignoring nursing home rules and gvt mandates. And, If you all can avoid a nursing home for your family member, now is the time to do it. Too many at covid forum of twenty thousand, have relatives whom died at nursing homes or work in them. And they stated the workers don't give a damn. They bring in the illnesses as no one else is allowed in the nursing homes now. Residents and Medical "professionals."

I hope they do get prosecuted for willfully breaking governmental lockdown rules now. Whilst the US is even worse than it was in March. And, it is not a long term on the vent type of death. It is sudden. They are being released after a couple days and blood clot gets their heart. Or they suddenly need double lung transplants. I cannot even think of the legal term as I am so horrified for the members of the covid forum whom lost loved ones already.

People are dying. Faster. More groups are affected. Children, teens, young marrieds, those with underlying issues, elderly, they are all dying. Quickly. And we thought we had the treatments down. This virus has been mutated on us. I don't believe its a natural mutation. The vaccines will allegedly bring a natural mutation into our lives. Yes, it is winter, but I don't trust fauci. He was allegedly caught on sound bite stating the version he releases in the fall would kill thousands and thousands more. I did not hear the sound bite. But i do know fauci stole a colleague's research papers on HIV. Presented them as his own. Not uncommon in medicine I hear.

For the love of God or If you prefer to meet Satan, pay attention. This is very real. Is very swiftly killing people. Of all types and all health issues or those without health issues. People seem to feel they get immunity if they get covid. Not all do. And it may last but ninety days if at all. the CDC wants us to wear masks in homes if anyone other than the normal family is there. If some go out, they need to change and shower and wash clothers and protect those they are living with.

This is a bitching way to die. I have seen hundreds of shared photos of people unconscious, intubated, dying on the covid forum. We had a few ass wipes make up a deceased family member cuz he wanted to go on TV. We kicked him to the curb after two days on the covid forum cuz he could not recall his lies. When this virus affects you or your family, you will never forget how it presented itself in their body. How sick they got. Whether or not you also got infected.

I put this stuff up on FB for the few people i have befriended. The largest glove maker in the world has had 2400 workers contract covid and it was covered up. Just last week. And we saw Asia was washing and reselling used condoms. Huh? So, we don't put it past anyone to be recycling masks or gloves to keep the US down. China did mention the US is totally vulnerable now. We have enemies. Many.

Be smart. The worst is yet to come we hear. The remainder of December and through to february will be the killing fields. Don't put your relatives at risk. Don't put your coworkers at risk.

Forego friggin weddings. Live together till the pandemic is over. Or get married with a justice of the peace. two guests. That was how I married. Forever ago.

But for all things good and holy, stop fucking around with this virus. The American People have proven themselves to be selfish, self centered and horrible. And they don't care. Another medical clinic the head doctor and staff all joked how the minute no one is arond, they remove the ppe cuz it is so uncomfortable. I can guarantee to you that this disease will be far more uncomfortable if you get it.

WAKE UP. PAY ATTENTION AND MAYBE LIVE. At least don't let your foolishness kill family or friends cuz this is an horrific way to die. Or, in the alternative, one spends a lifetime as a long hauler. Cognitive dysfuntion, fatigue, young athletes cannot jog or exercise yet and its been a year. It was in NY by December as most of us whom live here figured out.

I beg of you to take your life and your loved one's lives seriously. Cuz elsewise, you will have their blood on your hands when you go to meet your maker.

NY is screwed. We are back where we were last March. All protections wherein the gvt gave unemployment monies and stimulus monies are gone. Right at christmas, it all goes away.

Numbers skyrocketed due to travel to family members. Congress does not give a rats arse about stimulus before recess.

Pfizer vaccinated a ninety year old woman in UK today.
Gigantic corps grabbed the PPP monies and small businesses will finally go down this lockdown coming up in NY.
As our Pres refused more dosages of the vaccine, the vast majority of vulnerable will need to wait until spring or summer to get a vaccine.

This is not the time for complacency. This is back with full force and effect in NY city and suburbs. Please, save a life. It could be your own.
