Australian and New Zealand customs are the toughest.

They have a search and destroy mission that far exceeds all other countries.

I remember traveling there (Oz) and having some organic almonds with me that I'd forgotten about... they actually called me out on them and made me go through a complete search of all my luggage just because I had them. Then they lectured me on not bringing ANY foreign matter into their country.

Boy did I feel like a ninny.

I hope the seizures are over. Seems that this was somewhat of a World wide phenomena this time around.

Okay just got a more serious looking letter from customs!, diffrent than the regular one it didnt list the substance like it ushaly does, but saying if I don't stop they are going to open a case the weird thing is my pills came with it

Only thing I can think of is its for my etizolam but that's unscheduled legal in the usa but it's the only other order I'm waiting on has anyone had ther etizolam seized it's never over 100 tabs

I noticed a lot of clothing, purses, belts, watches, etc being seized at jfk...I suppose they were ultimately headed downtown to canal...

after passing by yesterday, it sure didn't look like it had much effect on the available merchandise....though i'm sure as always the good stuff is either offsite or in back behind the fake wall....

it never ceases to amaze me how much of our hard earned $$ are wasted on this kind of so-called war on ___________ ....(feel free to fill in the blank from the myriad options available to choose from) Smile

So true snappy. All those tax dollars on largely useless procedures and policies.

Customs people have wide discretion and don't always follow the written rules. They can confiscate just about anything they decide to take if its a substance even aspirin. Otoh, they have been known to let in things clearly against the rules and I've heard stories about schedule 3 drugs being let in. No doctor's note or anything. But do not count on that because we have also heard stories about people being arrested and charged for that. A 90 day supply guarantees nothing.

Mugaby, many things slip into those countries if sent in what looks like a plain envelope with nothing suspicious inside. That limits what you can get because the rollers will crush many things and you don't want it to be lumpy.

Hi Nirvanadone87 ,  first I have heard of this type of LL.  And it is totally weird that your meds came with it.  Did you sign for the package?

Hi Slip Kid ,  6 weeks used to be the average amount of time for a LL to arrive.   But things change.

Folks please always correct me if your experience is different.  As I mentioned things change alot.  Also seems as if the LL process varies in various countries.

No didn't sign for it and what had came was from another company so it wasn't like they gave me the letter and the stuff they were talking about in the letter just a order from diffrent site

Do most seized pkgs result in LL's or do many just end up in a pile and end up MIA forever? I know I've read here about people receiving LL's after a month or so of not receiving. I've never really worried about these things too much but this one has me a little jumpy. Thanks.

Hi Slip Kid,
Don't loose hope!
There is no exact protocol that is followed, it seems to be different with every single order UGH!
The good news is, I have had my selections sit in customs for over 21 days (N.E Coast USA).
I thought it was best to just consider it a loss, and after 3 weeks -tracking updated showing movement again on it's way to destination.
I Hope for the best for you, and wanted to relay the inconsistent time frames that occur.
cheers!
Z
Boy having anxiety and waiting 21 days is rough. One time with TTM. 36 DAYS. The letter not tampered wth and looked normal
No rhyme or reason.
Cheers

Zip code after what? Not sure what your are talking about
