300 is a 2006 American epic historical action film based on the 1998 comic series
of the same name by Frank Miller and Lynn Varley. Both are fictionalized retellings
of the Battle of Thermopylae in the Persian Wars. The film was co-written and
directed by Zack Snyder, while Miller served as executive producer and consultant.
It was filmed mostly with a superimposition chroma key technique to replicate the
imagery of the original comic book.

The plot revolves around King Leonidas (Gerard Butler), who leads 300 Spartans into
battle against the Persian "God-King" Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro) and his invading
army of more than 300,000 soldiers. As the battle rages, Queen Gorgo (Lena Headey)
attempts to rally support in Sparta for her husband. The story is framed by a voice-over
narrative by the Spartan soldier Dilios (David Wenham). Through this narrative technique,
various fantastical creatures are introduced, placing 300 within the genre of historical fantasy.

Oh yes, it's weird! There are different translations of it that give a slightly different emphasis. I just like that it is about friendship as a simple concept... Nearly 50 years ago someone in the USSR was making this strange little movie about friendship. LOL

This is called RENT/ nyc/ when the aids crisis was beginning. i hope this is the full movie cuz another site wAS willing to show me but 41 minutes.

i was gonna give up law and be a caregiver to HIV patients. Yes, we thought it was lethal. As is done, I asked three pastors to ask God for me. and i was told i was not brought this far in law to work with HIV now.

Its heartbreaking. I lost good friends.
